Mashman

Mashman is the absolute marking of the evolution of rap music production. There is no one style that defines Mashman's music. The art is of no style at all, he just knows what rap music is supposed to sound like.

The Time is Now!!

Here's your chance to get in early before its too late.

The Truth...

In Short, for years you can try to have your music heard and even be rejected by the majors in the business forever. However, to be frank, nobody really wants to go through that and, no one should have to, this is where rocmp3.com comes in.

RocMP3.com provides a win/win situation for Artist, producers, bands, groups, Mixtape DJ's, indie labels, managers, entrepreneurs, etc. The way it works is very simple and easy. There are millions of artist who need music distribution outlets. The purpose of RocMP3.com is to provide artist with Free Music Distribution and to provide a positive monthly income ranging anywhere from $500 - 5,000 a month or more.

As you probably know for years the Music Industry has determined how successful someone could be in their Music Career. Fact is, the control they once maintained is slipping away faster and faster with the NEW Digital Age. As a Result, it has open the door for more and more people like yourself to become successful.

Earning Money Daily!

When you become a member of RocMP3.com you become an owner of your own online music store. There are several ways that store owners generate positive income. The sale of their own music, the selling of other's music and the Signing-up of other Artist/Store owners. What follows are the 3 main methods of generating income with RocMP3.com.

1. Signing-up Artist/Store owners - The only way new store owners can be added to Rocmp3.com network is by signing up under another store owner. This in turn means that there will be some artist/store owners who sign up 500 - 1000 other store owners to make 40% of their $10.95 monthly payment. This is a key method to generating massive monthly income. You also will receive 10% monthly Residual from everyone that your store owners sign-up. This is a two tier payment structure that will pay you additional monthly income.

This is a very simple pay structure that anyone who chooses to put a little time into can make upwards of and extra $50,000 to $100,000 a year. There are millions of people who need this service and most wouldn't mind making money just telling others about it.

2. The sale of your own music - When you own your online store in the rocMP3 network you can sell your music for as much as you want and keep all profits. Therefore, No Middleman profit sharing. For example: You sell an album for $10 in your store you profit $10 (Minus the Credit Card Charge). If you sell a thousand copies or even a million copies of your music in your own store you keep the entire Profit 100%.

3. Selling other's music - Artists who own stores can choose to allow other artist/store owners to sell their music. When you create your store and upload your music, you can choose to sell your music Exclusively or you can choose to make it Non-Exclusive, therefore making it available to all the stores in the Rocmp3.com network. The Benefit in this is to have multiple online stores promoting and selling your music. If you choose to allow other store owners to sell your music you simple pay them 40% of the sale price. This would be a great benefit if 10,000 stores could manage to sell 1 copy of your song, wouldn't that be great?

If you just want to take advantage of the service and not use it as a way to make a significant income, that would be fine as well. To have the service for only $10.95 a month is still a great bargain. At least if you just sign-up 3 people to make over $13 a month, your membership would be FREE. But of course there will be those who set a goal to use our easy money making system and marketing tools to focus on getting a 1000 people under them. Why not, that's an extra $4,380.00 a month income from just telling people about the network.

Benefits in detial

Just really think about it. You are being exposed to a SYSTEM that can save you money as soon as you sign up. Now that you have your own business online, Your Internet service becomes TAX deductible, your traveling expenses, phone, and even your rocmp3 membership are all tax deductible. There are way more tax benefits, but these few are just to show you that its an immediate benefit from the start.

Please Remember.

Why Did You Make Me Black Lord ....
Lord .... Why did you make me black?
Why did you ma ke someone
the world would hold back?

Black is the color of dirty clothes,
of gr! imy hand s and feet...
Black is the color of darkness,
of tired beaten streets...

Why did you give me thick lips,
a broad nose and kinky hair?
Why did you create someone

who receives the hated stare?

Black is the color of the bruised eye
when someone gets hurt...
Black is the color of darkness,
black is the color of dirt.

Why is my bone structure so thick,
my hips and cheeks so high?
Why are my eyes brown,
and not the color of the sky?

Why do people think I'm useless?
How come I feel so used?
Why do people see my skin
and think I should be abused?

Lord, I just don't understand...
What is it about my skin?
Why is it some people want to hate me
and not know the person within?

Black is what people are "Labeled"
when others want to keep them away...
Black is the color of shadows cast...
Black is the end of the day.

Lord you know my own people mistreat me,
and you know this just ain't right...
They don't like my hair, they d on't like my
skin, as they say I'm too dark or too light!

Lord, don't you think
it's time to make a change?
Why don't you redo creation
and make everyone the same?

GOD's Reply:

Why did I make you black?

Why did I make you black?

I made you in the color of coal
from which beautiful diamonds are formed...
I made you in the color of oil,
the black gold which keeps people warm.

Your color is the same as the rich dark soil
that grows the food you need...
Your color is the same as the black stallion and
panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed!

All colors of the heavenly rainbow
can be found throughout every nation...
When all these colors are blended,
you become my greatest creation!

Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool,
such a beautiful creature is he...
I am the shepherd who watches them,
I will ALWAYS watch over thee!

You are the color of the midnight sky,
I put star glitter in your eyes...
There's a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain...
That's why your cheeks are so high!

You are the color of dark clouds
from the hurricanes I create in September...
I made your lips so full and thick,
so when you kiss...they will remember!

Your stature is strong,
your bone structure thick to withstand the
burden of time...
The reflection you see in the mirror,
that image that looks back,..that is MINE!

So get off your knees,
look in the mirror and tell me what you see?
I didn't make you in the image of darkness...
I made you in the image of ME!

Send this to every African-American person you know.....

Nas & Jay

Music & The Black Republicans

14 Mar 2007, 02:41
This journal entry folks is inspired by last.fm user comments on the biggest track/song in the Hip Hop world to date. I understand that we all have an affinity for music in our own unique ways, yet when one person is able to sell millions and millions and millions of units over a given period of time, it should be self evident that there are millions, and millions, and millions of like minded individuals who have the same taste for the music.

Ignorance is bliss and I fault no one for their short comings pertaining to their knowledge of Hip Hop, the culture and those who embody and exude its true essence everyday. Whether they are on a microphone in a booth, performing on stage in front of thousands of people, embarassing another crew in a battle, outclassing another DJ and/or painting another mural on another street corner in brooklyn, or writing a song or a book, these are true masters at their craft and pillars of the Hip Hop community that will never be forgotten.

So please everyone, stop trying to bring down our modern day Kings who bring such joy to our little lives that are so important to you. Instead, continue to support them in the honorable, respecting, loving, and most creative ways that you do best, and help uplift the culture. Hip Hop began for one reason and one reason only and that reason is for the purpose of freedom from ones bondages in any given period in time. So enjoy the culture that is and has been maturing since RUN DMC began RAISING HELL!!!

MasHOuT

Hip Hop is Dead is complete. It is Nas' most complete album to date. Wait for the next one, it's going to be even stronger. On top of that for those of you who have no idea, nor the slightest inclination of what it takes to create a beautiful song I suggest you keep your production constructive criticism at bay. Yes I'll be at the Nas concert in April, and Nas has not fallen further, he's as high as Mt. Jaro in Africa.

Jay-Z. This shit is deep don't even get it twisted unless you're dealing with cush. You see I can agree with you that Jay-Z's ear for sound is different than Nas'. However it's what makes Jay, Jay and Nas, Nas. It's like a finger print. Jay is that brother that will take you there to show you how the sunshines on this side of the planet from this altitude. Nas' foundation is grass roots born. That means from the valleys to the Mountain peaks. We are all connected and the song Black Republicans is the biggest track/song in the Hip Hop world! Period.

I would be honoured to be the producer of this song but I'm not, so I give credit where credit is most definitely due. Biggie wouldn't have it any other way and neither would Pac.

Remember?...good will to all men!

The Strong Black Woman is Dead- Please Read...Very Powerful!!

Please note that the following piece of writing I did not write. The author is unkown so I am just spreading the news!

You might want to meditate on this one...This is a poem that every Black person should read and present to every Black woman you know. It's really deep and should be read when you have the time to honestly inhale it...

The Strong Black Woman is Dead...

On August 15, 1999, at 11:55 p.m., while struggling
With the reality of being a human instead of a myth, the
strong black woman passed away.
Medical sources say she died of natural causes, but those
who knew her know she died from being silent when she
should have been screaming, milling when she should have
been raging, from being sick and not wanting anyone to know
because her pain might inconvenience them.

She died from an overdose of other people clinging to her
when she didn't even have energy for herself. She died
from loving men who didn't love themselves and could only
offer her a crippled reflection. She died from raising
children alone and for not being able to do a complete job.
She died from the lies her grandmother told her mother and
her mother told her about life, men & racism. She died
from being sexually abused as a child and having to take
that truth everywhere she went every day of her life,
exchanging the humiliation for guilt and back again.

She died from being battered by someone who claimed to love
her and she allowed the battering to go on to show she
loved him too. She died from asphyxiation, coughing up
blood from secrets she kept trying to burn away instead of
allowing herself the kind of nervous breakdown she was
entitled to, but only white girls could afford.

She died from being responsible, because she was the last
rung on the ladder and there was no one under her she could dump
on.
The strong black woman is dead.
She died from the multiple births of children she never
really wanted but was forced to have by the strangling
morality of those around her. She died from being a mother at 15 and a grandmother at 30 and an ancestor at 45.

She died from being dragged down and sat upon by un-evolved women posing as sisters.
She died from pretending the life she was living was a
Kodak moment instead of a 20th century, post-slavery nightmare!

She died from tolerating Mr.Pitiful, just to have a man
around the house. She died from lack of orgasms because she
never learned what made her body happy and no one took the
time to teach her and sometimes, when she found arms that
were tender, she died because they belonged to the same gender.

She died from sacrificing herself
for everybody and
everything when what she really wanted to do was be a
singer, a dancer, or some magnificent other.
She died from lies of omission because she didn't want to
bring the black man down. She died from race memories of
being snatched and raped and snatched and sold and
snatched
and bred and snatched and whipped and snatched and worked
to death.

She died from tributes from her counterparts who should
have been matching her efforts instead of showering her
with dead words and empty songs. She died from myths that
would not allow her to show weakness without being
chastised by the lazy and hazy.
She died from hiding her real feelings until they became
hard and bitter enough to invade her womb and breasts like
angry
tumors. She died from always lifting something from
heavy boxes to refrigerators.

The strong black woman is dead.
She died from the punishments received from being honest
about life, racism & men. She died from being called a
bitch for being verbal, a dyke for being assertive and a
whore for picking her own lovers. She died from never being
enough of what men wanted, or being too much for the men
she wanted. She died from being too black and died again
for not being black enough. She died from castration every
time somebody thought of her as only a woman, or treated
her like less than a man.
She died from being misinformed about her mind, her body &
the extent of her royal capabilities. She died from knees
pressed too close together because respect was never part
of the foreplay that was being shoved at her.

She died from loneliness in birthing rooms and aloneness in
Abortion centers. She died of shock in courtrooms where she
sat, alone, watching her children being legally lynched.
She died in bathrooms
with her veins busting open with
self-hatred and neglect. She died in her mind, fighting
life racism, & men, while her body was carted away and
stashed in a human warehouse for the spiritually mutilated.
And sometimes when she refused to die, when she just
refused to
give in she was killed by the lethal images of
blonde hair, blue eyes and flat butts, rejected by the
O.J.'s, the Quincy's, & the Poitiers.
Sometimes, she
was stomped to death by racism & sexism,
executed by hi-tech ignorance while she carried the family
in her belly, the community on her head, and the race on
her back!

The strong silent, talking black woman is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or is she still alive and kicking?????????????? I can only question, to seek answers....Black women tell me what you think?

Author unknown
Is the strong black woman really dead?

Contrary to what you may believe, she actually is alive, well and more beautiful than you could possibly imagine!

The MOnthLy Pit DIarY.

MARZO

Their impression of power is remarkable. They give one the feeling of immense reserves of energy, of great reservoirs of knowledge, of tolerance of disposition, obstinacy of purpose, and tenacity of principle. They are responsive, and they have a lot of quiet, good sense.

A dog hath right good understanding
A wise dog knoweth all things,

First Verse for 2007!

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Hip Hop Anecdote

Just a little thing about Hip Hop!...

Hip Hop is life to many of us. Only a few of us have the foresite and the courage to step up as leaders to take responsibility for it's accomplishments and downfalls. I would personally like to take this time to thank all of those who believe in the truth of Hip Hop and continue to work hard at continuing its positive message. Rap, DJ'ing, Breaking, and Graffiti have given birth to a culture that is and always has been the breath and voice of our young black youth. Hip Hop has developed such international respect that it is now curbing the way consumers shop for their goods anytime of the year, and it's influencing what they buy. So remember to be proud of your culture, make good music to uplift the masses and always love what you do.

Peace,

you GotTa LOve HiP HOp!

Now a days...

A lot of things are different now, most for the better some maybe for the worst but it comes with the territory. I've got an ex who's a confused sweet heart whose family I hve grown to respect and some strange way love. But I'm not blissfully in love with her, but maybe it's a new kind of love I need to learn about. That love that sticks by you no matter what and is focused on your positive improvement. Is there to take care of you when u need, unselfish, impatiently patient, erotic, and sometimes disturbing when u just want peace and quiet. It sounds like a life a man who has been married for decades lives through, yet he does not disrespect his wife and children. What do I do? Today the thought occured to me to leave these women alone, continue to get into shape, continue to make the right decisions regarding my future and the future of my dog.

Get the MPC, get the turn tables, the Rane mixer, THe Mackie board and enough vacation and sick time to lamp out in Europe making music. And the first ten songs I sell when I'm there I will quit my job in NA if I do not get my transfer to the UK.

Alright, I'm done talking for now. Got a millionaire seminar to go to soon so I'll be in touch.

Oh yes and by the way, the Mashman cd is selling, but of course you already new that because you have your copy because you went to www.thatguy.co.uk

Another coffee filled day. About 2 cups.

Bouncin' to some Dilla just after having a real beautiful conversation wit a honey. SMoked a DubiE, she's a cutie, beAt a juice and just listened to she.

Rap on the radio now a days is mostly GarBage!

Go get your DonUtS and The Shining! Dilla, RIP. What up Dave NY. I agree with what you say about todays radio and what they decide to play. However with every genre of music that always happens once it becomes popular. Now it's just time for specialized radio. You know, undergRound.

E-Letter

THIS E-LETTER IS A REPLY FROM A FRIEND FROM THE PRESENT. WE HAVE NOT COMMUNICATED IN SOME YEARS. AFTER READING THIS I CAN SAY THAT HIS BRAIN IS IN PROPER FORM.

ENJOY.

That’s a pretty surprising and impressive story. I mean, it shouldn’t be surprising. The generosity of the American people, including celebrities, is well documented. But this story is surprising for two reasons. First, the dramatic, almost melodramatic nature of it, and second because it isn’t headline news on every society page in the country.
Naturally my skepticism was piqued.
My first stop was LexisNexis … but unfortunately LexisNexis is offline, and they’re not saying why. I think the subscription service is still available, but the pay-per-result “a la carte” service isn’t. So that sucked.
Next stop: Google News, the poor man’s LexisNexis. I found exactly one citation, from the April 15 edition of the Ironwood (Mich.) Daily Globe. And frankly, it smelled terrible. The item in the Globe was copied almost word-for-word from the e-mail I got. That was no help at all.
At this point, I was thinking either myth or old news. So I did what anybody would do: I picked up the phone and called the Fisher House in San Antonio. There I spoke to an amazingly helpful duty officer — if you need help with anything, ever, find a sergeant — who was able to put me in contact with James Weiskopf, VP of Communications for the Fisher House Foundation.
I haven’t spoken to Mr. Weiskopf yet; I’m waiting for a call back. But along the way, I was able to find out that Denzel Washington really did visit the Fisher House at BAMC, and that he really did make a donation toward the construction of a new Fisher House.
But the more dramatic, almost melodramatic parts of the story? Probably false, I’m sorry to say.
According to Internet Web site Snopes.com, Washington did visit Fisher House in December 2004, and he did subsequently make a donation to the foundation. But the donation wasn’t as big as this e-mail rumor reports, and it wasn’t a “whip-out-the-checkbook-on-the-spot” situation. He mailed in his donation later just like a normal person.
Of course, Snopes.com has been found to be wrong pretty often when it comes to matters related to politics and the military, so I didn’t stop there. I’m still waiting to hear back from Mr. Weiskopf at Fisher House, and when I speak to him I’ll see if I can’t talk him into going on the record for me, just to clear this up once and for all.
But at this point, it looks like this is another instance of a perfectly good story that got blown out of proportion in the rumor mill. Which is a shame, because compared to the myth — that Washington whipped out his checkbook right then and there — the truth seems pale. It shouldn’t, because generosity without melodrama is still generosity, which is why e-mail rumors like this annoy me so.
Update
I just got off the phone with Jim Weiskopf of Fisher House. “The story is true up to the point where they have him writing a check on the spot,” he told me. “He and his wife were very moved by what they saw in the Fisher House, and he made a pledge to our executive director who was there that day and then followed up several weeks later by sending us a very substantial donation.”
Washington never intended to make a donation large enough to cover the entire cost of the house, Weiskopf said. That detail in the story seems to have come from a simple misunderstanding. “That same day, Dave Coker, our executive director, went down to Brook Army Medical Center, bringing with him the offer from our chairman to build a third Fisher House at Brook Army Medical Center,” Weiskopf said. “That night there was a dinner that the commanding general hosted, and Denzel and his wife stayed around for the beginning of it. The general talked about the offer of the third house, and also talked about Denzel making a pledge, and someone in the audience put the two together.”
According to Weiskopf, some versions of the e-mail rumor going around mention that Washington has a son who’s serving in Iraq. That detail is pure fiction.
Washington’s generosity didn’t end with his donation, though. He’s appearing in a play in New York right now, and Weiskopf told me that the actor donated 25 seats at the show to wounded and injured service members.

Waters Worth...

The day has finally come when flavored water is cheaper than plain water. Not proper at all.

Sirius Stuff!

I particularly enjoy Tony Touches show on Tuesday nights on Shade45. Also the "All out Show" I can appreciate as well. DJ Kay Slay's show is kind of week but it has it's moments. The best show to listen to on Friday nights and I wish it was almost every night is DJ Premier's show 10-2am on Hip Hop nation.

I also enjoy listening to Backspin as well and the Reggae channel 32. The Chill network is also a solid bonus for my listening pleasures. One thing I will say is that it is flooded with a certain kind of rap music, namely gangsta rap, a lot negative energy style of rap music. Now I grew up listening to both ends of the culture when it came to rap music. So I enjoyed my KRS One, A Tribe Called Quest, N.W.A., Tim Dog, Nas, B.I.G., Casual, Digital Underground, Slick Rick, just to name a few the list could really go on. But what these channels fail to do is glorify or celebrate the maturity Rap music has undergone over the last 3 decades. In other words at the end of the day, I would still prefer my play list of music then what I have decided to pay for.

As a DJ myself, and having done radio in the past and produced my own shows for 3 years as well as stage tours, how can I have my own show on a Sirius channel and or my own station? I take the Sirius movement very Siriusly.

For instance, my colleague has XM in his vehicle and we switched vehicles for the next week because I'm going on vacation. So while he enjoys my Sportster for the next couple of days I have his XM transmitter. I Siriusly cannot wait to get back my truck. Even the signal strength is stronger with Sirius.

So with that said, can you provide me a step by step process as to how I can go about having my own channel or at least a show?

Siriusly Best Regards,

That Guy

P.S. Siriusly, I'm Sirius about blogging this.

Additional:

I also like the fact that on Tuesdays no matter what channel I'm on I receive a S-Alert showing me that my favorite show at 8pm is begining within minutes. That's just some cool sh*t! Yes I like that it's uncencsored, I enjoy the fact that I am listening to clean, crisp, digital quality music devoid of commercials. Satellite radio is good for a man like me because I deeply feel that Canadian broadcasting is decades behind its programming. Being a DJ for over 14 years now has definitely influnced my ability to analyze such things. Take care for now and it's about time you got Sirius with your radio!

Peace.

Nano

I fixed my Nano. The internet really works when it comes to self help, who new? Now all I gotta do is return this satellite radio. It's not bad, there are a lot of good things especially the fact that there are no commericals. But at the end of the day radio is still radio and they still play what they want. I want to hear what I want when I want, so the Nano is the way to go. Just gotta find my iRiver now, I don't remember where I put it. The merchant I purchased my Satellite radio at better refund me though str8t up!

Things...

Things are happening finally, slowly but surely is the adjective that matters. The art of the rambler is taking place. Executed with precision. The strange thing is I should be sleeping and everytime I sign in, instead viewing my blog it takes me to the page to write something right away. I guess it's a convenience not an annoyance. Good people meet good people and they find each other no matter the weather or time. Stay Tuned for the MAShMan homie and home girl.

"Grey Goose and a hole lot of hydro."-Nas

I only really started drinking Vodka this year. Not accessively, I mean trying it out, I usually drink cognac and beer but the russian distilled vodka is doing it. By the way if you enjoy your vodka, try putting you Grey Goose bottle in the freezer for a few hours, as a matter of fact keep it in there and have a drink when you're ready. It's the best way trust me.

Anyhow gotta get up early, in like 5 hours to work and pay my rent and all that other stuff so peace out and stay alive!

My Thoughts.

Here is something I wrote to a CBC producer.

I truly believe the world has been and always will be a world devoid of
compassion and common sense. A company that is incorporated protects
its people who make the decisions on various things. When it is the
company that is the inanimate entity unable to make such decisions.
Legally what should be tried in court is the Chairman of the board and
downward. I am sick of these individuals hiding behind these
corporations, destroying Black peoples homes while they are on vacation
in Tahiti or somewhere in the world not named on our maps. All the
broadcasting companies can document whatever they want but it's not
their priority either to step in and intervene on various political
issues or the rights of the Nigerian people in this particular matter.
However you will document these issues in order to increase your ratings
and to say that you are doing a good thing by letting the North American
public know about the atrocities that happen over seas.

The bottom line is this. If man did not create the disillusioned need
for the mighty $1, many of the horrible things that happen to families
in the world would not exist. A Prime Minister or President or King of
any country/nation or even Continent is no better than I for he is just
a mere mortal.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth
on him.

John 3:36

I guess it is for this reason why nothing is everything to me. To watch
your documentary and see the people of Nigeria claim right over their
property and resources is a beautiful thing. However the downside is
that people are still dying for their cause. I hate that my company gas
card is Esso. But it's an expense I need not worry about for now. Yet
in my personal opinion this corporation is one of the most irresponsible
corporations in the world for over half a century now. The individuals
that run these companies are too selfish and too apathetic towards
humanity.

Broadcasting companies are nothing. Just another corporation claiming
to provide a service for the people in its broadcasting territory. What
political power do you have? What kind of influence is involved? I've
watched more CBC then I have voted in my life and I have only voted
twice in 10 years. All these people need to do is stop. Take a moment
to really see what's going on. It is not the middle class and poor you
need to educate with these documentaries, it's the Oil companies, Prime
Ministers, Presidents, Speakers, Kings and Queens, Princes,...the
wealthy families that have wealth from generations and generations
ago...these are the people who have the financial resources to stop what
has been happening to life in Africa. But because Africa is the Mother
land, wealthy beyond human comprehension with natural resources that
will make people rich beyond their wildest dreams is why such horror
occurs to the African people.

Somethin'

There's a beauty in the air and I shant complain
Life continues without suggestions
Decisions are made and meant to not regret
You can knock on a door knowing someone is behind it
The question is how long will you?
She strategically awaits for the right moment to let him in
Awaiting a chemistry that strikes her heart beyond her imagination
Anything is possible.
How does he tell her how important she is to him?
How does he show her how important she is to him?
I guess he could try flowers for starters.

Holy....!

So now I am a 29 year old living alone because his cute little orchid Asian girl moved out because she is a self respecting young woman. There is still an attraction between us but that's only natural. There's a lot to talk about but such little time. I have no furniture, no internet, no tv and all the rent and gas bills are mine. Happy me? Well all I can do is hustle and enjoy my life. Hold on...gotta check an email from my Dad, we haven't spoken in quite some time, actually he didn't even call me on my birthday. Alright not yet the damn program froze. You know what, hold on. Yeah ok, so I got on and everything is cool he just wanted to say happy easter.

I don't have any more energy after checking 20 pounds of emails, ttyl but on the real, it's unfortunate that things had to end up this way because her love for me is real and she is a sweet heart and she thinks I would forget her and maybe resent her but there's no way. I am not that cold anymore, I used to be but life is too short. She will always be my little orchid, no one will be able to replace her. Especially when I can still feel her tongue on my chest, or in my ear, so weird but true.

Peace out!

Shisha

I am finally with her. My Shisha.

Where is she?

I don't get it anymore really you know. Maybe I just need to start working again to get my mind on other things but I just miss havin' that true Hip Hop honey with soul. You know, the one that you can talk about the newest of the new music to and she knows exactly what you're talkin' about, or she'll hit you with something new that you ain't heard yet and that's what's so fly about her. I could talk to her about anything like poetry, art, music, girls I was still bonin, givin' me a headache, just life. I could confess my life to her and that was real. She shared the same with me, however even though her life wasn't like mine I was still that guy for her. You know, wiping my sweat off my forehead with her sweat rag that she dances with around her neck without hesitation, lookin' after me makin' sure I stay lookin' fresh.

So time moves on and I find the dog of my life. She's a real bitch and I love her. She's precious to me and I bring her up on tough love and she understands this and respects my ways. She stands proud and strong and has my girlfriend confused like why she can go so long with out food. The answer is that's just the way she is, she's a natural born survivor and doesn't take shit from anything. Once you cross her you better watch each step you make because you won't know when it's your last when she's comin' for you. She pensively looks out the 27th floor of the Penthouse suite and watches the North while I type my thoughts. She knows we are going to the end together and I love that. After a nice healthy run out in the park, she still wants to play tug of rope with me and that's serious shit. Actually we may go back out after this anyway. Even my girl says why isn't she tired? Come on I got the pit that chases the Energizer bunny. She won't even kill it because she knows that once she does the fun is over. Smart bitch.

Anyways, I just miss my Hip Hop honey because she was the girl I was going to get down on one knee for with out hesitation. God bless her and her family!

Still thinking...

I just cannot get her off my mind. By the way the song of the day is U by Black Milk. I'm haunted too because I've gotta wake up in about 6 hours and I can't sleep. Damn, this ain't no good at all son. On the real though, I hope my live in girl gets a flat sexy stomach by the time it's time for Jamaica. If not I don't know man cause I ain't payin to go down with a half ass sexy chick. On the real, I need fitness by my side because I'm going to be just that, fit. I need a girl haunted like me on the real. Anyway, that's all for now I got some more emails to pop off like my guest list and such for this Friday night. Gyeah, back to DJ'n again and record pool is still a go. It pays to be known and respected!

Growing up

What is it? I am almost 30 now and what have I done to contribute to the society or city with which I inhabited for more than two decades, approximately 3. I am living with a girl who has been very supportive and has said the other day that she is moving out at the end of the lease. This is for the best I think. Even if we are still together it will be for the best. No one reads this blog and maybe it's for the better. I have not been able to DJ or make music to release my thoughts, emotions and or frustrations. Even when I go to the gym I feel better but it's still not the same. Still, I think I should hit the gym tonight. At any rate I met an old school friend. Yet we never spoke when we were in high school we just stared at each other yet she didn't know when I was looking and I didn't know when she was looking but we found each other last year. For the life of me and I don't know why but I feel so connected to her. Now she's beautiful to me but not model gorgeous u know? But she's beautiful to me. She's like a Jasmine. She makes me laugh and that's usually difficult. I mean right now in my life I like a lot of girls but I haven't traveled around the world to experience more women but maybe I'm just reduced to this. Women are the same all around technically but I don't believe that because there are many different rhythms out there. The one I thought I was going to marry died on me last year so things have been really strange. I have just been going through the motions like getting a job, securing that job, paying bills, trying to make money as an actor on the side, trying to save money so that I can start buying real estate, a drum machine. Sitting in a room of darkness thinking about all of these things is quite comforting but also frustrating at the same time. Realistically, how is that possible? Well, as I wise friend once said to me, anything is possible. I think I'm in love with two chicks possibly three but one is forbidden. Actually technically two are. One's my brown sugar, the other is my red head queen pin, and the last is my Jasmine flower. Please note that the song of the day is Silent Treatment by The Roots. So this is all very weird because I want to write a book about love and my life but I don't have a formula and nor do I want one. I have subscribed to about three blogs but only 2 have the real shit. This one and another. Maybe I should just publish a series of my blogs with all of my thoughts that might not be a bad idea.

I got the pit I wanted though. I had a crush on a girl in my building, actually two girls. One is a coc head and just too young for me now that I think about it, and the other is a mystery but has this cool dope nature about her that gets me nervous and turns me into the notorious shy guy that has been with me all my life. Every time I like a girl it shows. Unless I have liquor in my system I'm shier than Casper.

What to make of my life I do not know. I do know that I will make at least 10 hit songs through out my life time, I will give back to my brothers and sisters in Africa and hopefully meet Mandela before he passes on to heaven.

I'm getting hungry.

The weekend.

Everything is usually something of many things that could even mean the completion of one thing. I helped my closest friend move today on Friday into his new house. His first new house. It was a joyous occasion because it's a new step or phaze in our young adult lives. He's got a great house and I only could wish to be as fortunate as him to have a home like that as my first home. We are all now Big Men in this life and when we were teenagers were growing up on Big Man music. He has decided to build a life with a girl whom he never thought would be the one he will marry this year but it's just the way the ball rolls sometimes. Happiness is no short coming. Life is what it is fortunately and only God knows your future. My heart feels strong. I heard a question tonight that said, "why wouldn't you do it? It's your dream."

So I'mma do my dream no matter how long it takes to make myself a success through what I dream about!

J Dilla

Legendary producer Jay Dee of late '90's Detroit rap trio Slum Village has just passed.
Jay-Dee has produced such classics as "The Light" by Common, "Stakes is High" by De La Soul, Woo Hahh (remix) by Busta Rhymes feat. ODB and countless others.
He has also produced originals and remixes over the last 12 years for artists such as D' Angelo, Janet jackson, The Pharcyde, a Tribe Called Quest and many many others.
Jay Dee recently released an all instrumental album titled "Donuts" on indie hip-hop label Stones Throw.
Not long ago, Jay Dee answered a few rumors in XXL:
"I went overseas for two weeks and was eatin' all this crazy-ass food. As soon as I got back, I had the flu or something, and I had to check myself into the hospital. Then they (doctors) [found] out I had a ruptured kidney and was malnourished from not eatin' the right kinda food. It was real simple, but it ended with me being in the hospital."
Jay Dee passed around 8:00 this morning at his home in California. James (J-Dilla) Yancey will forever be remembered as one of the greatest producers in Hip-Hop.
We'd like to send our condolences to Jay Dee's family, Rest In Peace Dilla...

Here's an email from another legendary DJ, DJ Premier:
"for those that really know HIP HOP.......this goes out to Jay Dee who we know as J Dilla formerly of the group Slum Village who left this earth this morning in California.......Although he was from Detroit, he was very sicc lately and just finished touring the world under the circumstances...........True Warrrior and on of the hottest producers in the world of Hip Hop..........Rest In Peace My Dude.....You aint sicc no more.....DJ Premier "

On a day like today it's so hard to believe that one of the greatest HIP HOP produces in the world have past on to the other world. There will be no one else like him. Above is an online artilce posted from www.hiphopgame.com. I'm glad he was able to fuse with Madlib though because they rubbed off on each other so when u here Dilla you can also hear a little Madlib and when you hear Madlib you hear a little Dilla. My boy called me at 1:30amEST to tell me the news. RIP Dilla, we love you and you will be thoroughly missed. I don't have anything else to say except for the fact that he was the illest and emplified Detroits true soul sound when it came to Hip Hop.

Peace.
